Software:

• Final Cut Pro.
• I use nuke for node-based compositing. Been learning Storm and Resolve.
• I type my scripts in Final Draft. I use TextMate for notes and regex trickery, XCode + git for my code.
• I mostly do websites in a mixture of Cyberduck, Smultron, Sequel Pro, and ssh.
• Various utilities.

Unix:

My first Unix system was a FreeBSD ftp server I built in the mid nineties. I started using RedHat at some point late in the decade. In college I had an account on the Sun mainframe I’d use to check my mail and update my web page. I flirted with Windows 2K in the early part of the decade but once OS X came out I finally had the shell and gui together. Since then I’ve ditched tcsh for bash, perl for python and mostly run ubuntu on my x86 boxes. I tell people it’s debian to maintain my street cred.

Server:

• www – rewritten, CSS + django + MySQL for the most part.
• koonce – wordpress with a custom theme. Still slowly growing, my main workhorse.
• future – eventually, mingus with some tweaks.
• mail – google apps.
• server – a linux vps from Dreamhost.
• future – a linux vps from WebFaction.
